What should you expect on your first visit?
worship experience
Our celebration begins with a time of sharing and enjoying some snacks which we call Coffee Hour* followed by praise, worship and the teaching of the word.
Our singing is an act of worship to God; Feel free to sit, stand or dance for joy. This is followed by a message from the Word of about 30 minutes.
* Coffee time is a time for refreshments before the worship experience.
Children's program
If you have children (pre-k through age 12), they can participate in our fun (and safe!) Children's Church during each service. Each of our children is a disciple in the making. Our adolescents and young people also receive the Word in an environment designed to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Where can you park?
Parking is located entering from East 19th Street in the rear of the temple at 270 E. 19th St. Paterson, NJ 07524. You can also park on the front streets (E. 18th St.). We have volunteers who will assist you in parking in a suitable spot.
How should you dress?
At Bethel the predominant styles range from casual to semi-formal. Whether you prefer high heels or tennis shoes, a dress shirt or t-shirt, among us you will feel at home.
